Where I'm from, stories can literally have power, at least in the right cases. Bards, like myself, can do a lot with using performing them as a way to use magic, more or less.

But yeah. I reach the end, then I find myself pulled to another plane, and now I guess I'm in a new book where aforementioned Lord now wants me dead because I found out something very much inconvenient to her.

Getting off of my world entirely would be a very handy solution to the situation. At least as long as none of her minions get on BadgerNet.
