happy health & sports day aka time to run around outside all day instead of go to class
except we don't have that in iden it's kind of just an earth thing
but most of YOU guys are from earth!! or something kinda like it
do you guys have any sports festival stories?? this one time a kid got hurt at the bread eating contest bc she fell over while trying to get the bread on the string which was kinda funny bc she like RAN to sign up for bread eating contest bc it was the least risk thing
and uhhh one time i got heat stroke at the relay race that's less fun
kinda glad it's colder here!! i should probably try running around tho

but more importantly!!!

but it's health & sports day on earth + also a bunch of other earth countries have other more boring holidays today
so mr. creeper took-over-the-school is prob gonna do something different today bc these guys like trying to make iden into "earth but better (for them)"
like idk make all the girls run around outside in those stupid gym bloomers no one likes
or take a day off or smth
either way he's gonna break the pattern i think so if you're gonna do something do it now

hmm maybe i should do something that shows i've been studying hard while they're gone! like making something from sengeis that i learned about or smth

hmmmm i was learning about heraldry last month and all the rules and how most of the time if someone breaks one of them it's an invader saying they're above the rules of this world
but sometimes it's just a religion bc same reason

that's kinda just how earth/japan schools are though i think other country schools are kinda similar but they don't have the same holidays
here i just get tutoring bc school's really different (+ i teach people about what i know too which is fun)
there ARE schools here but usually just specialized ones
like the big elementalist school the others are trying to fight a guy at! but i guess i can't talk much about that b/c security
(i might get lectured about sending the message over this way too but it was the fastest way)

... Once, there was a girl. Riana was her name. I am, more or less, built from her soul, her prayer for vengeance realized. Someone back home insisted I was her, but... Without her memories, without her name, without any of that?

Even then, she would've learned from a bard, not a proper school. Seems like a more boring environment, single tutoring, honestly...

there's still those kinds of people no matter where you go
and like. invaders come from there? so i guess i didn't have to say that
but coming here doesn't make them gross. there's this guy. a god i think. i can't remember a lot, my brain got all messed up.
he picks people who were already doing that stuff on a smaller scale. acting like they owned the world. and then sends them someplace where there's no one they can get in trouble with, no one they respect, and power they can use over everyone.

but yeah earth has some nice stuff too, and there's lots of good people
it's just i don't think some worlds are 100 percent better than others you know?
like i like living in iden but it kinda sucks that they haven't invented internet or indoor plumbing

... Given what the forces of the Demon Lord of Wrath were up to, I'd take the kind of world where someone like that can only pull the occasional person, versus having an unending supply...

Maybe the world can start improving without him using magic to induce battle-rage in people?

He's not the only Demon Lord, though. Just the one who got horrifically active.

... I don't like thinking too much about who my enemy is now. Not as much as finishing plans to get off my world and out of her reach.

And, yeah, pretty much. She and I were from different worlds, but wound up sharing one for a while due to... Weirdness there. She helped me... Well, adjust to being able to think for myself.

I still don't honestly get to break a representation of the brainwashing used on me by my former "Queen", thus snapping me free from her control, from having to believe things I would normally have easily been able to intuit as false, and, oh yeah, making me a target when me and Marla were returned to our respective homes, because she assumed I could do the same thing to the rest of her minions.

it still sounds pretty scary though. i don't know any ways to get out of a world aside from "random portal" or "die" neither of which is reliable or fun, but i'm gonna see what i can find out

For those who get to advanced enough a knack for magic, at least! It requires a lot of skill development, though, that's for sure. The kind only very strong adventurers tend to attain under... Well, I wouldn't call it 'normal' circumstances.

In theory, at least, I should be strong enough to get to it.

I didn't always run away... Far from it, in fact. I flee now for different reasons. Like not wanting to hurt people who are still controlled and can't choose to stop fighting themselves...

even if she's invulnerable and has a million powers. impossible happens all the time. bc those people end up relying on it, even if they look smart enough to solve anything.
it's really hard though. get stronger like you want + even past that, you're desperate to even find one way in

Killing the Demon Queen of Lust is definitely in 'not sure if possible' range. Wrath was only vulnerable because he tried to invade the mortal realm directly. She's smarter than that, so you'd need...

... Well, enough that I'd rather any resources be put against your world's god first, honestly? The good news with her is her schemes run absurdly slow in comparison. "Kill my rival when there's a team of heroes dedicated to killing him" took two years of one minion repeatedly running fake plans so the heroes beat her up and then are in the right place to find out the next bit of how to defeat Wrath.

Even if she did get to "conquer cities", it'd be the slow string-pully way where heroes can more easily slow her down than they can several armies.

Thus why I'd rather just focus on getting her most immediately relevant plan, that is, "Kill this specific person", into "impossible enough that she gives up" territory.

It's all right, honestly. It's... I want to think longer term, but right now, just getting to SAFETY needs to come first.

It's more like an ethical thing of when it's right to change the world in the name of defending it or the like.

If you introduce technology that didn't exist before, that comes with social implications. Like making floors terrifying if you attach a knife to a floor-mounted cleaning robot for some reason.

You'd also need to figure out how to keep them from copying and exploiting it, in this case. A lot of that tech may only be safe to put out into society when they're not a factor...

they're all "do not sully dwarven superior craftsmanship" like all the time
