Reached me in place between worlds. If not multiversal, would be impossible to reach me there. Maybe you won't believe me. But that is my experience.

It's not that I think you're lying, it's just that this whole thing is pretty weird. I thought alternate worlds were just a science fiction thing!

Remember thinking that. Before I started my travels. Pulled to many worlds. To be the hero.

Like in The Chronicles of Narnia? Do you get to go home in between?

Not heard of Narnia. Possible I forgot. Been a long time. Stopped counting at millennium. Never returned to home. Don't even remember much about it.

Wow, how did you live that long? And...does that mean you don't miss it? [That feels kinda sad.]

Blessing of longevity. Don't remember how got it. Probably reward from a god. My home... I missed it, I think. Now used to this.

I don't think you should be, though? You need to take breaks sometimes or you'll burn out! My dad works really hard, but he always comes home every night to rest.

Burned out at times. Not any more. Rest unnecessary now.

I...don't think that's normal? [She did say she was extremely old, but that doesn't mean it's not worrying to think about.]

Do you know who keeps sending you to all these different worlds? Or who sent you away from your homeworld in the first place?

Was summoned at first I think. By people needing help. Now can travel on own. Enter mist, emerge where needed.

But...you can't go home that way?

Forgot too much about home. Probably everyone dead and home changed too much anyways.

Even if you can't go home, there must be other places that would welcome you, right? If you helped so many of them.

Sleep no longer necessary. Do take naps to clear mind sometimes.

I thought you needed to sleep more as you got older? [And she's obviously very old by now!]
