As in, that sort of thing isn't even theoretically possible with Blastia, as far as I know.

First thought from reading everything else:

Understand that ordinarily, time is a handed device-- which is to say, time has a chirality to it. Thus, it takes tremendous amounts of energy to change the state of time-- you have to reverse both the energy states and the chirality.

Ironically, this gathering of energy likely takes time.

Thus, it's likely this 'time elemental' is going to be at its weakest when he resets the loop.

I'm not a mage. I don't know enough about magic. You could be right.

But the time loop seems to be be a full year. I don't know if we can wait. He knows we're here now. He'll have time to prepare.

Stopping time isn't even an easy miracle. Crowley's quite good at it, but he says that's a combination of power and practice, and it's not a trick he uses often. I don't think I could sustain it for very long.

Resetting time is another matter entirely. That's... I'm not even sure if it would be in Lucifer's purview; possibly only Her domain. [Still, that's an angel saying a maximum of two beings she's aware of would even be hypothetically capable of doing that. (If Lucifer's one of them, then it was probably three before Adam rejected his role, but that's neither here nor there at this point.)]
