Deliberate Video
[Here's a somewhat overweight and pale guy with a kind smile in a smallish bedroom, with a desk beside the bed; he has headphones on, with a bigger helmet array his headphones can hook into lying next to him, and his webcam catches some anime figurines and a lot of books and CD roms and flash drives on a shelf.
There are posters up as well: one poster of a Valkyrie with an inexplicable rune-studded handheld railgun, titled VALKYRIE in a faux-runic font; one of a group of female k-pop stars in white and silver faux-uniforms; and group of 6 magical girls of various species, led by an elf with some kind of mace, facing a tall, broad-horned devilish figure.]
Okay. So! I think I might be tied for "furthest into the future," at least so far, so I hate to break it to you all that I'm actually kind of boring. In the grim darkness of 2047, there is only retail work at the Tote-Em-Snax convenience store. But hey, free minitacos at the end of the day since we'd throw 'em out otherwise.
But seriously, hi, I'm Jake Kim-Michaelson and I supplement my meagre income occasionally by streaming or holocasting games. Usually video games but I do occasionally do tabletop for a crowd. I should really stream Capes or the Questing Country TTRPG more often, really.
But hi. I'm a wageslave and nerd from the distant year of 2047. Ask me anything.

What are the memes like in the far future?

Understand that most of the ones I know are about either Korean pop music, video games, or working at convenience stores.
That said, jokes about that one asshole's private spaceship the Kinnison are thick in the air right now since it got delayed, again. Starting with what do you think this is, rocket science? coming out of the lips of the idiot financing it.

Oh, is that the person who named his child some incomprehensible string of letters, or am I thinking of a different rich guy who gets memed on?
assume he uses expies for the Enterprise, I haven't come up with the proper expy yet
Also, if you're going to name your spaceship with a warp engine that allegedly makes Einstein splutter that light doesn't work that way, you name it the Kinnison instead of the Enterprise? Really?
Have you tried to read Doc Smith and the many adventures of Kimball Kinnison, Lensman? I did! For all they're seminal to the genre, they're not books to toss aside lightly - they should be hurled with great force! They're Unfortunately 1950's as hell!

We still have cat videos in the future, right?

No offense.

And of course, there's Hugecat, a Maine Coon who is roughly the size of my minifridge.
[Pretend I have pictures to hand that Jake's postin.]

They're precious...! I love them!

It got delayed again because he's a damn hack.
