That's what Eddie told him, anyway. The boy was the only one who saw him get kidnapped by some unholy abomination, and quite frankly the whole ordeal in another world's Krakow actually managed to help clear his name. It felt a bit risky to let the boy in on his newfound secret, but children can be quite imaginative. Shin figured it wouldn't be too much trouble if the boy failed to keep his powers a secret...

He agreed to help the boy find the true culprit soon, and then he could try to go back to his "regular" life.

But then he found a smartphone lying on the work table with some kind of badger app on it... Oh, dear lord... ]

If this is some sort of trap, don't even think about visiting me. I'm not in the mood to be shanghaied again.

I don't think people can find your location from a forum...? I know doxxing happens, but I think people use old Facebook posts for that usually.

True, but if someone could leave a new phone in a private room I don't allow most to freely enter, then I can only assume they already know where I am.

Not until I was dragged into one against my will! I just managed to return home, but the experience is still fresh in my mind.

It was a nightmare! I was trapped in a realm of eternal night! A madwoman fed me and my fellow captives to horrible shadow monsters! I nearly turned into a monster myself, and I'm fairly sure I'm still missing half my soul! It's a miracle I managed to survive long enough to see her demise and escape.

[ The other person doesn't need to know how he was technically dead for what seemed like half a month. That admission would come with too many questions he'd refuse to answer on here. ]
