[As alarming as it is that this device was delivered to Neriel's work space in the infirmary without drawing any attention... she thinks it may be useful. Especially now that matters are, well, arguably deteriorating further, even with Armageddon grinding to an unexpected halt.]

Can anyone tell me more about Earth? It looks like I'll need to make a planetside visit soon to get to the bottom of something, and our official records are... pretty vague. Comes of most angels not wanting to set foot on the place, I'm sure.

If it helps, we're 6022 years past the Creation of Earth, close to 6023. I believe the prevailing human calendar is at or near 2020? [It's near, not at, but that's never been a relevant calendar to Neriel's interests.]

Anyway, if you plan on visiting Earth I'd suggest taking human form. I'm not sure what an angel looks like, but I imagine most people would react poorly to seeing a celestial being's true form.

Good. I don't know how useful I'd be, seeing as you're somehow six years into the future for me, but perhaps if you told me exactly what you're investigating I could possibly give some advice.

I've never been planetside before, but the only person I trust to give me a truthful answer to a problem that's recently surfaced certainly isn't coming back here any time soon. [Not after the Archangels tried to kill him. Neriel can't blame him at all.]

It's mostly a matter of how to navigate without making a complete fool of myself to human observers.
